Regularity of Practice
To experience the optimal benefits of Pilates, it's important to practice regularly.

your learning and greatly enhance your overall health.

such as shorts, T-shirts, tights and leotards. We practice on bare feet.

Pilates. You may want to purchase your own mat for reasons of personal hygiene
and regularity of practice. Spirit of Pilates carries Pilates mats, props, clothing
and more.

Food
Pilates exercises should be performed on an empty stomach. Ideally, wait three
to four hours after a large meal, one to two hours after a light snack.
Health Conditions
Please consult your physician before starting any new exercise regime, especially
if you have health issues. Inform the instructor of any serious health conditions
such as neck, back or joint injuries, heart disease, high blood pressure, recent
surgery, and pregnancy. Classes and semi-privates are not meant for clients with
acute pain or injuries.
Medications
Do not practice Pilates while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (including
prescribed drugs), which may alter your ability to judge your physical capabilities.
Cancellation Policy
Please understand that for all sessions, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice
from the time of your scheduled appointment to cancel or there will be a full
service charge for missed and last minute cancellations. Monday appointments need
to be cancelled by noon the previous Saturday. This policy applies to all reservations,
whether for private or group sessions. In the case of personal illness, there
is no charge.
The trainee's late arrival for or early departure from a scheduled workout
will not reduce the fee. If the Trainer is tardy or overscheduled and must leave

wait for ten minutes of the scheduled appointment. After this period the Trainer
is free from obligation and Trainee is charged the full amount of the scheduled
appointment.
